Co-Owner
Alex is a seasoned professional dedicated to creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces, with over 10 years of experience in landscape construction and maintenance. A graduate of Montana State University, Alex earned a degree in Agriculture Business with a minor in Economics, blending a strong foundation in business management with a passion for the environment.
Throughout his career, Alex has honed his expertise in both residential and commercial landscape projects, bringing a detail-oriented and innovative approach to every job. Whether designing lush green spaces or ensuring long-term upkeep, his work emphasizes sustainability, quality, and efficiency.
When he’s not crafting stunning landscapes, Alex enjoys golfing, winter sports, and playing with his dog Bleep.
Kevin FitzGerald
Co-Owner
With over 12 years of management and operational experience, Kevin FitzGerald brings a wealth of expertise to his role as Co-Owner of AK Lawn & Landscape. Before starting AK with his business partner, Alex, in 2021, Kevin was Senior Vice President and a Founding Member of Gasthalter & Co., a strategic communications firm. His career journey has given him a broad skill set, but his true passion lies in working closely with people and building something meaningful for the local community. Kevin has a deep connection to the area and its people, a Gallatin Valley resident through and through. He combines his business savvy with a love for the outdoors, beautiful landscapes, and the joy of transforming properties. Recently, Kevin earned his Qualified Water Efficient Landscaper certification, underscoring his commitment to sustainable, eco-friendly landscaping practices.
Kevin approaches every client interaction with a customer-first mindset, taking the time to understand each client’s specific needs and tailoring services to fit both commercial and residential projects. His goal is always to enhance the beauty and functionality of the local properties he works on while contributing to a better Gallatin Valley.
When he’s not working, Kevin enjoys hitting the gym, reading, and spending time outdoors with friends.
